I am interested in helping students of all ages to improve their skills in reading, writing, history, and social science. I have extensive teaching experience in history, archaeology, and classics at the university level as well as five years of one-on-one tutoring experience primarily focused on reading, writing, and study skills. I have worked with everyone from middle school students to PhD candidates. I have also encountered many ESL students from various parts of the world, so I am comfortable communicating with non-native speakers and helping them improve their reading and writing skills in English. I can develop an individualized course for you, or provide critical feedback on existing work. I do not proofread, but I can help you edit your writing to improve content and clarity. My tutoring philosophy is focused on building skills and expertise that can be deployed in all facets of life to build confidence and success.
